From a clear vocation to promote a sustainable growth of the regional economy by improving the competitiveness of the industrial fabric. First and foremost by focussing on precision technology, industry 4.0 and the development of robotics and automation, among others.

Management

The Lower Deba Development Agency, Debegesa, is an entity funded by the government that boosts, centralises and manages this initiative on behalf of the District’s 8 town councils: Deba, Eibar, Elgoibar, Ermua, Mallabia, Mendaro, Mutriku, Soraluze.

The Department of Economic Development and Infrastructures of the Basque Government supports this initiative as part of its strategy for a New Competitiveness Model adapted to our capacities and tailored to the needs and aspirations of the Basque society.
