It is known that the companies of this District stand out in the design and integration of mechatronic systems with high added value in sectors of very high competitiveness: automotive, capital goods, aerospace / aeronautical sector, energy sector, machine tool or health sector among others. Under the framework of the RIS 3 Euskadi strategy, BPTD is postulated as a reference agent in the field of advanced manufacturing since our companies apply the most innovative technologies of Industry 4.0.
